The Corrosion Wyvern is a variant of Wyvern in Additional Creatures. Disclaimer - Corrosion Wyvern cannot be found naturally in-game, and thus can only be obtained through cheating or some form of server modification.
Synopsis
The Corrosive Wyvern appears to be a subspecies of Poison Wyvern that has left its natural home in the scar and favored the swamp. It has gained a poison-colored, mottled swampy hide after adapting to its environment, and living outside of the scar has seemed to benefit it. Unrestricted in its evolution, it has evolved to be a powerful, venomous apex predator of the swamp. Not also is its bite venomous, but it is capable of spitting corrosive acid from its mouth. These globs of acid are able to damage all manner of structures, albeit slowly. Its corrosive breath and venomous bite allow it to be used as either a more combat or supportive role, or both, alternating between the two if needed, depending on the rider. Rare, they are a sought after tame for survivors.

Unlike the other wyverns, the Corrosion Wyvern's stats are not decreased upon taming.
Corrosion Wyvern can be hatched to gain more speed than standard wyverns.
Corrosion Wyverns are immune to venom and corrosive acid.
Notes/Trivia
- The Corrosion Wyvern is the only creature in Additional Creatures that is a variant of a creature from the base game.
- The inclusion of the Corrosion Wyvern was to add a wyvern with mechanics from Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK. Initially, however, given its own expansion due to negative opinions of its inclusion in the base mod. Eventually it was moved to the main mod, but was removed from spawning naturally.
- The Corrosion Wyvern model was originally identical to a Poison Wyvern in appearance.
- The Corrosion Wyvern, if their spawn ini is set the same as other wyverns, will have their eggs spawn in wyvern nests.
