Crithoblos is a fantasy creature confirmed to appear in Additional Creatures: Grand Hunt.
Crithoblos is a large bodied flying wyvern as a relative of the other blos wyverns: Monoblos, Diablos, and Lukastiblos. Crithoblos is a nomadic monster found in colder environments, standing out from its relatives by having elemental abilities. Crithoblos is able to encase itself in ice in order to give itself armor and, while not capable of producing electricity, it is capable of using outside electrical sources to boost its own endurance and physical attacks. Crithoblos's design, while using its relatives as a base, is known to be inspired in design by numerous ceratopsians, most notably Centrosaurus and Psittacosaurus. The name Crithoblos is derived from the words "Cryo" for "Cold", Thor after the thunder god, and blos.
