Emalroth are fantasy creatures confirmed to appear in Additional Creatures: Grand Hunt.
While initially only known as a name on the modpage, Emalroth has made itself known in Additional Creatures as "The Saw-Clawed Wyvern". Emalroth gets its name from the Estonian word for mother ("Ema") and Barroth, which it is a relative of. Emalroth are large brute wyverns, similar in size to allosaurus and tyrannosaurus, that live in forested areas. They are omnivorous, and typically won't be a threat to players. However, Emalroth will become aggressive if they have young present. The spikes on their arms are their primary weapons, known to emit 2 types of venom: the standard one and one that does paralysis. If the baby of an Emalroth is killed, the parent will enter a blind rage where it will NEVER lose aggro. Regardless of where the player is on the map, it will attempt to track them down and kill them. Taming Emalroth can be done in two ways. The first is taking the infant from the defensive mother, which can be done by running away and/or knocking her out. After a time in the player's hands, the baby can be passive tamed. However, be warned that the grace period between capture and taming will be longer if the mother is killed. The second way of taming is, if a baby is taken away from its mother and tamed, and visits its mother as an adult, the mother can be passive tamed, as she now sees you as a trustworthy character.
