Eotriceratops are dinosaurs confirmed to appear in Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK.
Eotriceratops, meaning "Dawn Three-Horned Face" is a ceratopsid dinosaur that lived in Canada during the Late Cretaceous, 70 million years ago. Despite being reminiscent of its more popular cousin, there is very little known about Eotriceratops, only being known from a single skull and some vertebrae. At the time it lived, it was the largest ceratopsid, however its size is often exaggerated. Initially believed to be the largest ceratopsid to ever live, it is now believed that it simply had a larger head for its body size than triceratops. Triceratops and Torosaurus are larger overall. Eotriceratops was discovered in the Horseshoe Canyon formation, where it had to contend with predators like Albertosaurus.
Eotriceratops was first introduced to Additional Creatures in the original mod, where it was largely an improvement on Triceratops, being larger, more powerful, and more effective at gathering. It was removed with the removal of the Additional Creatures mod, before returning some time later in Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK, being given a TLC. It was largely the same, but received a new appearance, being much more powerful, armored, having the ability to gather metal, and was able to jump at a very high stamina cost. It also had its inventory act as a smithy. Eotriceratops was eventually removed for good due to various constraints with giving it another TLC at the time, but with the discovery of a quality model, its return is now planned. The details are currently unknown.
