Synopsis

Fasolasuchus is one of the island's oldest residents, being a creature from the Triassic period. The king of it's time period and the king of it's family, Fasolasuchus is the largest Rauisuchid on the island. Despite looking like a crocodile or dinosaur, Fasolasuchus and its relatives are neither. However, like a crocodile, Fasolasuchus has a VERY tough hide- and that of Fasolasuchus is incredibly durable. For an apex predator, Fasolasuchus is a dangerously powerful creature by default, and Fasolasuchus's incredibly tough hide only makes it more dangerous. Bullets all but bounce off of it's back, where the armor is thickest, and the creature itself is already extremely durable. Add onto the fact the hide is so tough that it prevents certain environmental and combat conditions from effecting it,

and Fasolasuchus becomes an incredibly dangerous adversary. It seems to know this, and is a hyper-aggressive predator known for attacking almost anything-even other larger carnivores. Due to it's aggression and tanky durability, this Rauisuchid is a go-to end game mount.

The Fasolasuchus is incredibly armored, it only takes 60% of incoming damage in general, and also takes absolutely no damage from projectiles that hit the back.

Notes/Trivia

• The Fasolasuchus has a bug where the rider floats above the saddle. This bug cannot be fixed without causing major gameplay issues, but the bug itself is purely aesthetic: not harming gameplay in any way, even not changing first person!
• Fasolasuchus was the largest of the rauisuchians, an unscientific group of carnivorous archosaur reptiles that also includes other species like Postosuchus, Saurosuchus, and Arizonasaurus. They were not crocodilians like sarcosuchus and kaprosuchus but were still fairly closely related.
• While Fasolasuchus was the largest rauisuchian, it is still oversized in ARK, albeit fairly to scale with the also-oversized carnivorous dinosaurs.
• Despite it not looking possible, Rauisuchians were actually purely bipedal in life, just like the carnivorous dinosaurs they co-existed with. They did not, however, evolve bipedalism from dinosaurs. It's a case of convergant evolution, with both groups evolving bipedalism seperately.
• Fasolasuchus means "Fasola Crocodile".
