Wiki Rules
The Additional Creatures wiki has been created and is heavily maintained by the Additional Creatures series mod team. As a result, it is recommended to consult Scanova, the head staff of this wiki, before making changes to it. Regardless, here is the basis for how the Additional Creatures wiki is maintained.
Acceptable Edits that remain consistent with the current wiki’s infrastructure and edits that fix and correct wiki misinformation and errors are encouraged. For example, acceptable edits are as follows:
- Correcting of wiki information, grammar, and spelling.
- Additions of pages for content within the series that have yet to be covered.
- The addition of creature/item trivia where appropriate.
Unacceptable Edits include works that interfere with the wiki's current contents and infrastructure in an obtrusive or damaging way. For example, unacceptable edits are as follows:
- Creation and management of categories.
- The addition of pages for contents or subjects within the Additional Creatures mod series that do not exist.
- Addition of misinformation or false information.
- The addition of spam, NSFW content, flame content towards the mod or its developers, or any other content that breaks fandom terms of service.
- All of the wiki's current pages are consistent and heavily intertwined with each other in structure, and should be seen as templates/examples to go by when adding content. Deviations from this structure can be consulted and approved by head staff, but unauthorized overhauls of content are forbidden.
- Prototype and Early Access creatures are deliberately treated with vagueness due to their work-in-progress state and proneness to breaking and bugs. As a result, they will not be covered extensively on the wiki and are to be used by users at their own risk.
Penalties for wiki mismanagement will be handled on a case by case basis, with blocks only being reserved for severe cases (most prominently offensive content, spam, if the offender has multiple offenses, and if they break fandom terms of service). If there are any rules about the specific nuances of what is acceptable or what is not, then the head staff can be contacted for an answer, and these rules will be updated as the wiki develops further. What is the Additional Creatures series?
Additional Creatures is a mod series in ARK: Survival Evolved created by mod developer Shadlos. Additional Creatures has the simple aim to continue the addition of unique species into the ARK world for the player to experience, tame, and ride. Additional Creatures is a series which aims to further enrich ARK: Survival Evolved's base experience. The series as a whole contains 100+ creatures so far, with plenty more on the way, and they are all balanced for the vanilla-ark experience and have a unique role to play both in the ecosystem and as a tame. The Additional Creatures series currently consists of 9 different mods (with another WIP, for a total of 10). This doesn't include expansions, which Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK does have. All of these mods implement different creatures, and have a separate theme/aesthetic. These mods, with the exception of the expansions they may have, are un-linked and can be picked and chosen depending on the type of creatures desired by the player.
What is Additional Creatures: Senior Class?
Additional Creatures: Senior Class is an ARK mod with a few intentions. First and foremost, it's to add on to the current animal number in ARK in a meaningful way, adding a wide variety of new animals. This is done by giving certain store-bought models life in ARK, at least to the best of the mod creator's ability.

Note that there was an original "Additional Creatures" mod, but this no longer exists, with all of its creatures either re-implemented into Additional Creatures: Senior Class or have been (or will be) given a rework/TLC in another Additional Creatures mod.
What is Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK?
Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK is the sequel to Additional Creatures. It has the same mission as Additional Creatures does, but it achieves it differently. Rather than store-bought models, the mod relies on a mix of remodelled ARK creatures and complete newly-created creatures in order to create their own life. This not only increases the quality of the animals, but it also means there are much wider options as to what can be added into the game. Certain creatures do have their own models and animations, but this is only a select few.

Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK has an expansion pack called Additional Creatures: Bonus Content. This expansion will require Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK in order to function. This expansion features creatures models and animations from other sources, most notably store-bought. This expansion acts an indirect successor to the original Additional Creatures mod, considering its creations were added under similar methods.

Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK has a second expansion pack called Additional Creatures: Roya Creations. This expansion will require Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK in order to function. This expansion features the creatures created by ex-modder Roya, bringing them back into the spotlight after his departure from the ARK Modding Community. This expansion is planned to be removed in the future, with its additions being transferred and changed to fit other projects.

Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK has a third expansion pack planned, although what it involves is currently unknown.
Additional Creatures Standalones: Genomic Spinosaurus is a sidemod of Additional Creatures that specifically adds solely the Genomic Spinosaurus to your ARK world, with slight differences to the base version. Be warned that this mod and Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK are not compatible with each other.

What is Additional Creatures 2: Paranoia?
Additional Creatures 2: Paranoia is the third member of the Additional Creatures series. While originally an expansion for Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK, it has since graduated into its own, separate mod. It has the same style as Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK, but focuses entirely on adding cryptids to the game, rather than prehistoric animals, as rare and exotic critters for survivors to tame.

What is Additional Creatures: Aquaria?
Additional Creatures: Aquaria is the fourth member of the Additional Creatures series. It is fairly similar to Additional Creatures as it includes store-bought models, but it focuses less on adding new creatures of all kinds, and rather emphasizes aquatic life. This is primarily to add more life to the oceans, adding on to the aesthetic and making ARK's ocean seem less empty. The creatures still have their own distinct roles though.

What is Additional Creatures: Kami Creations?
Additional Creatures: Kami Creations is the fifth member of the Additional Creatures series. This mod is dedicated to creatures that were created and featured by Critter Creator Scorching_Kami, with them having custom models and animations.

What is Additional Creatures: Dawnbreaker?
Additional Creatures: Dawnbreaker is the sixth member of the Additional Creatures series. The mod's sole addition is a creature known as the Dawnbreaker. The Dawnbreaker is a hybrid dinosaur who is created in concept by a friend of the mod developer known as ARIS.

Additional Creatures: DodoReaper is the seventh member of the Additional Creatures series. This mod's sole addition is a creature known as the Dodoreaper.

What is Additional Creatures: Grand Hunt?
Additional Creatures: Grand Hunt is the eighth member of the Additional Creatures series. A non-canon mod, this mod stands itself out for planning the addition of many fantastical creatures: a route the series rarely takes. The mod intends to bring creatures inspired by the Monster Hunter series, creating a similar feel while keeping it it's own distinct identity. The mod also plans to, along with taming the creatures, being able to create weapons and armor from killing them. This is unique in the Additional Creatures series, and creates another parallel to Monster Hunter, although this mechanic is not yet implemented.

What is Additional Creatures Presents: Kulaph Creatures?
Additional Creatures Presents: Kulaph Creatures is a collobarative mod between the Additional Creatures mod developer, Shadlos, and mod developer Askulaph (or Kulkulaph). The mod adds in the creation of Askulaph in ARK Additional Creatures, with the sole creature so far being Susecdurus.

What is Additional Creatures: Endemics (BETA)?
Additional Creatures: Endemics is the ninth member of the Additional Creatures series. This mod's role is to add creatures to the ARK that provide environmental character and depth, rather than adding new mounts or enemies. The central theme of this mod's creatures is small and basic, typically shoulder pets.
Please note that this mod is currently in a beta phase, going public early due to a misunderstanding in Wildcard's policy towards certain mods. As a result, the mod is currently not officially released, and issues and glitches with its content are highly likely. Use this mod and its creatures at your own risk.
