Synopsis
Subject was created by GSR Midori Rei of the C.A.A. as Arkos Subject 2, a project series done by the C.A.A. to test same-family hybrids before full genetic manipulation could begin. Main scope of the project was to test if more... 'realistic' creatures could survive on the ARK network, without the 'stylized' traits bestowed upon them by the network. Spinosaurus antonii was the first full test of this, aiming for Spinosaurus aquareliga's size and strength with an appearance more like the actual animal. Subject boasts durability and strength On-Par to Tyrannosaurus Dominum, becoming an exceedingly powerful jack-of-all-trades amphibious mount.

Notes/Trivia
- Genomic Spinosaurus is one of the very few hybrids in Additional Creatures, alongside Dawnbreaker.
- Despite appearing to be a variant of spinosaurus, looking very similar to the new reconstruction of Spinosaurus, this is by design. In reality it is a hybrid of Spinosaurus, Suchomimus, Oxalaia, Baryonyx, and Vallibonavenatrix.
- The Genomic Spinosaurus is a type of hybrid called a "Semi-Hybrid", which is a hybrid species who is consisted of only closely related species. This allows for these hybrids to have viable offspring.
- The Aberrant variation of Genomic Spinosaurus is not easily available on Aberration due to Vallibonavenatrix not living on the map.
- The Genomic Spinosaurus was released as a standalone sponsored mod, which rebalanced its stats and had it spawn in the wild as a more typical creature that can be tamed.
