An open-water voyager, the Great Hammerhead, despite it's size, is no true threat to any survivor unless provoked. They are fairly friendly and curious, but make no mistake are vicious predators. They roam the ocean in schools, traveling vast distances as they hunt for fish. They are fairly intelligent, with three distinct tactics for biting. Although all three result in roughly the same damage, it greatly effects both their prey and the type of resource they can collect! Though a single Great Hammerhead may not be the most damaging creature, a provoked pack of them can be a true threat...hence why most creatures will often leave them alone, in fear of possibly provoking an entire school! Survivors risk many dangers of the open water to try and tame one of these creatures as an excellent, well-rounded ocean mount adept at traversal, combat, and gathering!
Great Hammerhead Sharks have no color regions, so they all look like the individual above.

- Great Hammerhead Sharks are the largest sharks in the hammerhead family, which actually evolved pretty recently, appearing shortly after the KT Extinction event.
- Great Hammerheads have a reputation for being one of the few dangerous hammerhead sharks, but it's generally unwarranted, as the mod shows. They are actually incredibly shy and illusive.

- The Great Hammerhead Shark was originally a part of the original Additional Creatures mod, but has since been moved to Additional Creatures: Aquaria.
