Additional Creatures Wiki

Protostega are reptiles in Additional Creatures.

A very large, docile sea turtle. Protostega is a common sight both in the open ocean and coastal shallows. A carnivore, its diet consists of largely jellyfish and small fish. As such, it is a completely friendly animal and one can approach without much concern. As one would expect, its large shell makes it extremely defensive. While having strong jaws with a sharp beak, Protostega is not exactly lacking in the defense department either. When in water, it is capable of giving a powerful headbutt which can knock out potential threats, giving the turtle time to escape. If tamed, Protostega is a tanky ocean traveler. Most predators don't bother the turtle due to its natural armor, and it is effective at harvesting biotoxin. So while safe, and it can defend itself if careful with more dangerous threats around!
